Hiring Company FAQs

Q: We are a new company to your job board. How do we create an account to post jobs?

A: From the top header, select the "Hiring Company" icon, then in the dropdown menu, select "Sign Up".

Q: How are resumes received?

A: Companies can receive resumes through three methods: 1) via the Tri-Valley Tracy Jobs online form stored in our cloud database, 2) via the employer’s URL preference which can be linked to the company’s career webpage, or 3) via an email designated by the company. The company will need to select one of the three options when setting up the job posting. For the email option, we recommend noting instructions in your job posting such as “Attach your resume to the email” or “Include your contact information and reason for interest to the email”.  

Q: How do we edit our job posting?

A: Go to Hiring Company Log In. From your dashboard, select “Jobs” on the left column. Search for the specific job and then click on the “Edit” button below the listing. Edit job form as needed, then click “Save”.

Q: My position has been filled. How do we take down the active job posting?

A: Go to Hiring Company Log In. From your dashboard, select “Jobs” on the left column. Search for the specific job and then click on the “Filled” button below the listing.

Q: How do I renew an expired listing, or repost an previously posted position that is expired?

A: Go to Hiring Company Log In. From your dashboard, select “Jobs” on the left column. Locate the job to be listed. Click on the “Re-Post” button. This will take you to the “Post Jobs” page where you can select a plan. After selecting a plan, follow the online instructions.

Q: Is the “Talent Pool” accessible? 

A: Currently, the talent pool is not accessible to companies. Our goal is to grow the site and candidate database. Once we feel our talent pool has grown to a significant level, then we will consider making it accessible to hiring companies.

Q: How do I reset my password?

A: From the Hiring Company Log In, select "Reset" after "Forgot Password?"

Q: I have a question not listed in the FAQs, who can I contact?

A: Click on "Contact Form" in the footer, then send us your question, comment or concern.
